Solar Pro pool heaters are the energy efficient pool heaters. They are inexpensive to operate, simple to install, and environmentally friendly.  If you already have a Gas or Electric heater add a solar unit to reduce your cost of running your heater.

The NEW ‘curve’ solar heater design creates a MAXIMUM SOLAR collecting area. This is the most heat efficient and least flow restrictive pool heater design on the market. Extend your swimming season by adding this solar heater .  The Solar Curve has the ability to increase your pool temperature by 5 degrees in five days. Designed for use on above ground pools up to 30’ round and small inground pools. Depending on the size of your pool you may need to use multiple units which can be connected to generate more heat in less time. Solar PRO Curve includes adapters for Intex® pools and has a durable construction with commercial grade collectors.

The Solar PRO Curve Features:

• Unique Curved Shape – Maximizes heat absorption by capturing the sun’s rays at any point during the day
• Clear Cover – Wraps completely around the panel to lock in heat and deflect cooling winds
• 14 Collector Tubes – Allow for even water flow without the need for bypass kits
• Internal Molded Baffle – Diverts the water through the panel, allowing it to pass through both sides of the collector to maximize heating potential
• Threaded Ports – Provide flexibility when connecting to either above ground (soft sided or rigid wall) or in ground pools
• Fits 1.25 inches to 1.5 inches (32 to 38 mm) flexible hose. Includes hose and stainless steel hose clamps and a fitting for Intex 2.25 inches (40 mm) hoses

For best results, your solar heater should have a southern exposure, and you should use a solar blanket at night to hold in the heat. Use of multiple units will require a GAME Bypass Kit (bypass kits sold separately).

How Solar Heaters Compare to Gas and Electric Heaters

Pool owners should keep in mind that Solar Pro pool heaters are not as responsive as gas or electric heaters and, because they’re dependent on the sun, their effectiveness is diminished on cloudy, rainy or cold days. The result is that solar pool heaters take longer to heat your pool, and are less responsive than electric or gas heaters. As a result, many pool owners choose to use solar pool heaters in combination with electric or gas heaters. This technique allows homeowners to use their solar pool heater in the warm, summer months and on sunny days while saving their more powerful electric or gas heater for the spring, fall and cloudy days.
