Private, in-home training offers several advantages over classroom instruction, and may be the right answer for your needs. Some people choose private training because they can’t or don’t want to commit to the same time every week, and private training allows scheduling flexibility both on the day and time and the interval between sessions. Some, especially first-time owners, have a lot of questions, and therefore want the instructor’s full attention, rather than following a program that is designed for broad use and “most puppies.”
And some new puppy families are facing dog behaviour problems that are not typically addressed in a classroom where the focus is more on teaching obedience skills than on solving problems.
