How to Read Dog Body Language and Behaviour (for apprentice and new trainers)

Description

Becoming a professional dog trainer – someone who instructs others on how to train their dogs – usually starts with learning to train your own dog in basic obedience skills. But as an instructor and guide to dog owners, where you will have to handle many dogs of differing personalities and experience, you’ll need to be able to read much more information in a short time about the “subjects” you’re handling.

In this seminar, we use pictures and videos to read body language cues and, importantly, context, that help new and learning trainers recognize important information dogs are communicating to them, their owners and each other that will help you give the best advice to clients, choose the right dogs for classroom demonstrations, and identify problems that need addressing.

This seminar can be tailored to your audience in content and duration, so presentation fees are negotiated specific to each need.
